Easy route that leaves from El Arenal and passes through special places such as Las Majadas. Here you will see different types of farms in the Tiétar Valley, the cherry and chestnut trees of the area (the pillory has great recognition in markets such as Germany). When arriving at La Parra we pass through pine groves and olive groves.
We have avoided the road that leads to Arenas, and we enter El Berrocal. From Arenas we take a walk to the San Pedro de Alcántara Sanctuary (it can be visited).
We crossed Arenas, and we stopped to refuel some potatoes. The climb takes place parallel to the Arenal River and we discover pond after pond. In summer it is amazing because we can refresh all along the way.
The climb to El Arenal will take place along the “Carretera Vieja”, a small disused mountain road, except for the farmers of the area.
